A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Berlin Township for the purpose of providing for fire protection and emergency medical services, that the county auditor estimates will collect $123,509 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1 mill for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $21 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 1-mill, 5-year property tax for fire protection and emergency medical services in Berlin Township, including Berlin Heights village.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
