The question, as printed on the ballot
A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Berlin Township for the purpose of providing for the general construction, reconstruction, resurfacing, and repair of streets, roads, and bridges, that the county auditor estimates will collect $99,325 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1 mill for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $20 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 3 years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 1-mill, 3-year property tax for streets, roads and bridges in Berlin Township outside Berlin Heights village.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
