An additional tax for the benefit of Florence Township for the purpose of providing for fire protection and emergency medical services that the county auditor estimates will collect $179,505 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1.5 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $53 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote approves a new 1.5-mill, 5-year property tax for fire protection and emergency medical services in Florence Township.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the additional levy.
