An additional tax for the benefit of Madison Township for the purpose of general construction, reconstruction, resurfacing and repair of streets, roads and bridges that the county auditor estimates will collect $121,963 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1.5 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $53 for each $100,000 of the county auditor’s market value, for a continuing period of time, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote approves a new continuing 1.5-mill property tax (about $121,963 a year) for streets, roads and bridges in Madison Township.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the additional levy.
