A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Fayette County Emergency Medical Service District for the purpose of providing ambulance service, emergency medical service, or both, that the county auditor estimates will collect $1,482,933 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1.90 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $49 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 3 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 1.9-mill, 3-year property tax for ambulance and emergency medical service by the Fayette County Emergency Medical Service District, estimated to collect $1,482,933 a year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
