A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Village of Lyons for the purpose of current operating expenses, that the county auditor estimates will collect $34,715 annually, at a rate not exceeding 4.1 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $101 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 4.1-mill, 5-year property tax for Village of Lyons current operating expenses, estimated to collect $34,715 a year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
