The question, as printed on the ballot

A renewal of a tax for the benefit of the Swanton Public Library for the purpose of current expenses that the county auditor estimates will collect $220,002 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1 mill for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $22 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.

A “Yes” vote means

A yes vote renews a 1-mill, 5-year property tax for Swanton Public Library current expenses, estimated to collect $220,002 a year.

A “No” vote means

A no vote rejects the renewal levy.

Ballot heading: "Proposed Tax Levy (Renewal) Swanton Public Library (Fulton and Lucas Counties)". On the Fulton 2, Swanton Fulton, Swanton Swancreek, Swancreek East One and Swancreek East Two 1 ballots. Fulton County's board certified the issue; it also appears on Lucas County ballots in the library's area.
