The question, as printed on the ballot
A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Middlefield Township for the purpose of general construction, reconstruction, resurfacing, and repair of streets, roads, and bridges, that the county auditor estimates will collect $220,684 annually, at a rate not exceeding 2.5 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $54 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 4 years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 2.5-mill, 4-year property tax (estimated $220,684 a year) for Middlefield Township streets, roads and bridges.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
