The question, as printed on the ballot

Shall the Ordinance providing for a 1 per cent levy on income in the City of Beavercreek, Ohio, beginning July 1, 2027, for the purpose of providing revenue for general municipal operations, including public safety and public services, maintenance, equipment, municipal services and facilities, infrastructure, and capital improvements in the City of Beavercreek, which shall upon the approval of the 1 per cent income tax by the City's electors, cause the City to permanently terminate collection of the following existing property tax levies commencing in tax year 2027 including (1) police levy passed in 1981 (0.9 mill), (2) police levy passed in 1985 (1.2 mills), (3) police levy passed in 2014 (0.8 mill), (4) police levy passed in 2023 (1.8 mills), (5) street levy passed in 2016 (0.8 mill), (6) street levy passed in 2022 (2.15 mills), (7) street construction levy passed in 2014 (2 mills), (8) parks and recreation levy passed in 2014 (0.9 mill), and (9) parks and recreation levy passed in 2019 (0.3 mill) be passed?

A “Yes” vote means

A yes vote approves a 1% Beavercreek income tax starting July 1, 2027, and ends collection of nine existing city police, street and parks property tax levies from tax year 2027.

A “No” vote means

A no vote rejects the income tax; the existing property tax levies are not terminated by this issue.
