The question, as printed on the ballot
A renewal of a tax for the benefit of the Village of Spring Valley for the purpose of general construction, reconstruction, resurfacing, and repair of streets, roads, and bridges that the county auditor estimates will collect $2,165 annually, at a rate not exceeding 0.25 mill for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $6 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 0.25-mill, 5-year property tax for Spring Valley streets, roads and bridges.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
