A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Guernsey County for the purpose of maintaining and operating the Meals on Wheels Program for senior citizens that the county auditor estimates will collect $914,994 annually, at a rate not exceeding 0.75 mill for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $22 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 0.75-mill, 5-year county property tax to maintain and operate the Meals on Wheels program for senior citizens, estimated to collect $914,994 a year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
