A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Guernsey County for the purpose of maintaining and operating the Guernsey County Sheriff's Department enhanced 911 system that the county auditor estimates will collect $1,060,439 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1 mill for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $23 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 1-mill, 5-year county property tax to maintain and operate the Sheriff's Department enhanced 911 system, estimated to collect $1,060,439 a year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
