A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Spencer Township (Including Cumberland Village) for the purpose of maintaining and operating cemeteries that the county auditor estimates will collect $16,269 annually, at a rate not exceeding 0.6 mill for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $11 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 0.6-mill, 5-year property tax to maintain and operate cemeteries in Spencer Township, including Cumberland, estimated to collect $16,269 a year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
