A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Westland Township for the purpose of fire protection, ambulance, and emergency medical services that the county auditor estimates will collect $110,729 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1.6 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $39 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 1.6-mill, 5-year property tax for Westland Township fire protection, ambulance and emergency medical services, estimated to collect $110,729 a year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
