The question, as printed on the ballot
An additional tax for the benefit of the City of Forest Park for the purpose of fire protection and emergency medical services that the county auditor estimates will collect $2,030,169 annually, at a rate not exceeding 3.9 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $137 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for a continuing period of time, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote approves a new 3.9-mill property tax with no end date for fire protection and emergency medical services in Forest Park ($137 per $100,000 of market value).
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the additional levy.
