The question, as printed on the ballot
An additional tax for the benefit of the Village of Lockland for the purpose of providing and maintaining fire and emergency medical services that the county auditor estimates will collect $601,165 annually, at a rate not exceeding 8 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $280 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for a continuing period of time, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote approves a new 8-mill property tax with no end date for fire and emergency medical services in Lockland ($280 per $100,000 of market value).
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the additional levy.
