The question, as printed on the ballot
A renewal of a tax for the benefit of the Village of Mariemont for the purpose of permanent improvements: street repairs, installation and repair of curbs, sidewalks and storm sewers, tree maintenance, upgrading of parks, reducing erosion, purchase of equipment and facilities for Police, Fire, Maintenance and Administrative departments, that the county auditor estimates will collect $310,981 annually, at a rate not exceeding 3.5 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $40 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 3.5-mill, 5-year property tax for permanent improvements in Mariemont, such as streets, sidewalks, parks and safety equipment.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
