The question, as printed on the ballot
A renewal of a tax for the benefit of the City of Norwood for the purpose of current operating expenses, that the county auditor estimates will collect $1,642,311 annually, at a rate not exceeding 8 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $47 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews an 8-mill, 5-year property tax for the City of Norwood's current operating expenses.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
