A renewal of a tax for the benefit of the Hancock County Board of Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services, for the purpose of providing continued operations and the expansion of mental health and substance abuse services for the residents of Hancock County, Ohio, that the county auditor estimates will collect $3,043,393.00 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1.3 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $30 for each $100,000 of the county auditor’s market value, for a period of five years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 1.3-mill, 5-year property tax for the Hancock County ADAMHS Board's mental health and substance abuse services, estimated to collect $3,043,393 a year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
