A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Harrison County for the purpose of providing and maintaining services for senior citizens by the Harrison County Council on Aging that the county auditor estimates will collect $804,697 annually, at a rate not exceeding 0.75 mill for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $26 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.

A “Yes” vote means

A yes vote renews a 0.75-mill, 5-year county property tax (about $804,697 a year) for senior services by the Harrison County Council on Aging.

A “No” vote means

A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
