A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Freeport Village for the purpose of street expense, that the county auditor estimates will collect $10,993 annually, at a rate not exceeding 2.67 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $93 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 2.67-mill, 5-year property tax (about $10,993 a year) for Freeport Village's street expenses.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
