A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Marshall Township for the purpose of maintaining and operating cemeteries, that the county auditor estimates will collect $13,139 annually, at a rate not exceeding 0.5 mill for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $11 for each $100,000 of the county auditor’s market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 0.5-mill, 5-year property tax to maintain and operate Marshall Township cemeteries, estimated to collect $13,139 a year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
