The question, as printed on the ballot

A renewal of 5 mills and an increase of 1.5 mills for each $1 of taxable value to constitute a tax for the benefit of the Village of Laurelville for the purpose of current expenses, that the county auditor estimates will collect $38,694 annually, at a rate not exceeding 6.5 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $176 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.

A “Yes” vote means

A yes vote renews a 5-mill tax and adds 1.5 mills, for a 6.5-mill, 5-year levy (about $38,694 a year) for the Village of Laurelville's current expenses.

A “No” vote means

A no vote rejects the renewal and increase.
