A renewal of a tax for the benefit of the Village of Murray City for the purpose of current expenses, that the county auditor estimates will collect $14,930 annually, at a rate not exceeding 5 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $94 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a second 5-mill, 5-year property tax (about $14,930 a year) for Murray City's current expenses.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
