A renewal of a tax for the benefit of the Village of Murray City for the purpose of fire protection, that the county auditor estimates will collect $7,465 annually, at a rate not exceeding 2.5 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $47 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 2.5-mill, 5-year property tax (about $7,465 a year) for fire protection in Murray City.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
