The Board of County Commissioners of Holmes County proposes a continuation of an existing sales and use tax in the amount of 0.25 per cent for the purpose of providing additional revenue for the acquisition, construction, equipping or repair of permanent improvements, to-wit, the construction, reconstruction, resurfacing and repair of all roads and bridges within the county other than state roads and bridges for a period of 5 years. Shall the resolution of the Holmes County Commissioners proposing a continuation of an existing 0.25 per cent sales and use tax be approved?

A “Yes” vote means

A yes vote continues Holmes County's existing 0.25% sales and use tax for 5 years for county road and bridge construction and repair.

A “No” vote means

A no vote rejects continuing the sales and use tax.
