A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Prairie Township for the purpose of providing fire protection, the purchase of ambulance equipment, or the provision of ambulance or emergency medical services, that the county auditor estimates will collect $118,748 annually, at a rate not exceeding 2 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $31 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 2-mill, 5-year property tax for fire protection, ambulance equipment and emergency medical services in Prairie Township.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
