A renewal of a tax for the benefit of the Firelands Ambulance Service District for the purpose of providing ambulance service, emergency medical service, or for both such purposes, that the county auditor estimates will collect $134,120 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1 mill for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $24 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 1-mill, 5-year property tax for ambulance and emergency medical service in the Firelands Ambulance Service District.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
The ballot lists the district in Huron and Ashland counties; in Huron County it covers Fitchville Township, New London Township and the Village of New London. Its Ashland County part is not mapped here.
