A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Liberty Township for the purpose of providing and maintaining fire apparatus, appliances, buildings or sites therefor for fire protection in Liberty Township, to protect the property and lives of the citizens of Liberty Township against damages resulting from occurrences of fires that the county auditor estimates will collect $75,576 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1.5 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $125 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 1.5-mill, 5-year property tax for Liberty Township fire protection, estimated to collect $75,576 a year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
