The question, as printed on the ballot

A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Jefferson County Joint Vocational School for the purpose of 0.67 mill for current expenses and 0.33 mill for purchasing equipment for buildings; and improving buildings that the county auditor estimates will collect $1,934,109 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1 mill for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $30 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 10 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.

A “Yes” vote means

A yes vote renews a 1-mill, 10-year property tax (about $1,934,109 a year) for the Jefferson County Joint Vocational School's current expenses, equipment and buildings.

A “No” vote means

A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
