The question, as printed on the ballot
A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Mount Pleasant Village for the purpose of maintaining and operating cemeteries of the village of Mount Pleasant, that the county auditor estimates will collect $4,902 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1 mill for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $26 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 1-mill, 5-year property tax (about $4,902 a year) to maintain and operate Mount Pleasant's village cemeteries.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
