The question, as printed on the ballot
A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Saline Township for the purpose of ambulance and emergency medical services, that the county auditor estimates will collect $163,497 annually, at a rate not exceeding 2.5 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $38 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 2.5-mill, 5-year property tax (about $163,497 a year) for ambulance and emergency medical services in Saline Township.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
