A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Berlin Township for the purpose of general construction, reconstruction, resurfacing and repair of streets, roads and bridges that the county auditor estimates will collect $95,026 annually, at a rate not exceeding 2 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $70 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 4 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 2-mill, 4-year Berlin Township property tax (about $95,026 a year) for streets, roads and bridges.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
