Shall an annual income tax of one percent (1.00%) on the earned income of individuals residing in the school district be imposed by Mount Vernon City School District, for 30 years, beginning January 1, 2027, for the purpose of current expenses?

A “Yes” vote means

A yes vote imposes a 1% income tax on the earned income of school district residents for 30 years, starting January 1, 2027, for the district's current expenses.

A “No” vote means

A no vote rejects the income tax.
