The question, as printed on the ballot
A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Pike Township for the purpose of construction, reconstruction, general repairs and maintenance of roads that the county auditor estimates will collect $90,771 annually, at a rate not exceeding 2 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $70 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 2-mill, 5-year Pike Township property tax (about $90,771 a year) for road construction, repairs and maintenance.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
