A renewal of a tax for the benefit of the Township of Bowling Green for the purpose of fire protection and emergency medical services that the county auditor estimates will collect $44,234 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1 mill for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $20 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for a period of 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 1-mill, 5-year Bowling Green Township property tax (about $44,234 a year) for fire protection and emergency medical services.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
