The question, as printed on the ballot
A renewal of a tax for the benefit of the Township of Granville for the purpose of protecting or preserving "greenspace", that the county auditor estimates will collect $362,731 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1 mill for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $21 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for a period of 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 1-mill, 5-year Granville Township property tax (about $362,731 a year) for protecting or preserving greenspace.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
