The question, as printed on the ballot
A renewal of a tax for the benefit of the Licking Park District for the purpose of parks, trails, and recreational purposes, that the county auditor estimates will collect $2,274,412 annually, at a rate not exceeding .375 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $10 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for a period of 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 0.375-mill, 5-year property tax (about $2.27 million a year) for the Licking Park District's parks, trails and recreation.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
