A renewal of a tax for the benefit of the Washington Township Road District for the purpose of general construction, reconstruction, resurfacing, and repair of streets, roads and bridges that the county auditor estimates will collect $167,894 annually, at a rate not exceeding 3 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $89 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for a period of 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 3-mill, 5-year property tax (about $167,894 a year) for streets, roads and bridges in the Washington Township Road District.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
