The question, as printed on the ballot
An additional tax for the benefit of Indian Lake Joint Ambulance District for the purpose of emergency medical services that the county auditor estimates will collect $4,150,000 annually, at a rate not exceeding 8 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $280 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote approves an additional 8-mill, 5-year property tax for emergency medical services in the Indian Lake Joint Ambulance District, estimated to collect $4,150,000 a year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the additional levy.
On the Stokes North, Stokes South-East, Stokes West, Lakeview, Washington North, Washington South and Russells Point ballots.
