The question, as printed on the ballot
A renewal of a tax for the benefit of McArthur Township, excluding Huntsville, for the purpose of fire protection, that the county auditor estimates will collect $57,000 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1.25 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $24 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 3 years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 1.25-mill, 3-year property tax for fire protection in McArthur Township outside Huntsville, estimated to collect $57,000 a year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
