The question, as printed on the ballot

Commencing in 2026, and each three (3) years thereafter, the Council shall appoint as members of a Charter Review Commission five (5) electors of the Municipality holding no elective office of the Municipality. Such Commission shall review the Municipal Charter and within sixty (60) days after such appointment recommend to Council such alterations, revisions and amendments, if any, to this Charter, as in its judgment are desirable. The Council shall submit to the electors, not later than the next succeeding general election, any such proposed alterations, revisions or amendments. The members appointed to said Commission shall serve without compensation. Meetings of the Charter Review Commission shall be open to the public. Shall Article XIV of the Charter of Village of Grafton be amended as follows: Starting in 2026, every 3 years Council shall appoint an unpaid, 5-member Charter Review Commission to recommend charter changes.

A “Yes” vote means

A yes vote amends Grafton's charter so Council appoints an unpaid, five-member Charter Review Commission every three years starting in 2026.

A “No” vote means

A no vote keeps the current charter article on charter review.
