An additional tax for the benefit of Sheffield Township for the purpose of Fire & E.M.S. that the county auditor estimates will collect $219,627 annually, at a rate not exceeding 2.5 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $88 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote approves a new 2.5-mill, 5-year property tax for fire and EMS in Sheffield Township.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the additional levy.
