The question, as printed on the ballot

A renewal of a tax for the benefit of the Village of Berkey for the purpose of 911 operating expenses that the county auditor estimates will collect $26,508 annually, at a rate not exceeding 3 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $76 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for five years commencing in 2027 first due in calendar year 2028.

A “Yes” vote means

A yes vote renews a 3-mill, 5-year property tax for the village's 911 operating expenses, about $76 a year per $100,000 of market value.

A “No” vote means

A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
