The question, as printed on the ballot

A renewal of a tax for the benefit of the Village of Berkey for the purpose of operating the Village that the county auditor estimates will collect $24,558 annually, at a rate not exceeding 3 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $70 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for five years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.

A “Yes” vote means

A yes vote renews a 3-mill, 5-year property tax for operating the village, about $70 a year per $100,000 of market value.

A “No” vote means

A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
