The question, as printed on the ballot

Shall an annual income tax of one-half per centum (0.50%) on the earned income of individuals residing in the school district be imposed by the Springfield Local School District, for a five (5) year period of time, beginning January 1, 2027, for the purpose of current expenses?

A “Yes” vote means

A yes vote imposes a five-year 0.50% income tax on the earned income of Springfield Local School District residents, starting Jan. 1, 2027, for current expenses.

A “No” vote means

A no vote rejects the income tax.
