The question, as printed on the ballot

An additional tax for the benefit of the Toledo Lucas County Public Library for the purpose of current expenses that the county auditor estimates will collect $34,261,921 annually, at a rate not exceeding 3 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $105 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.

A “Yes” vote means

A yes vote approves an additional 3-mill, 5-year property tax for the library's current expenses, about $105 a year per $100,000 of market value.

A “No” vote means

A no vote rejects the additional levy.

The issue list names the district "TOLEDO-LUCAS COUNTY LIBRARY DISTRICT"; the levy was printed on every sampled ballot style, in every city, village and township of the county.
