The question, as printed on the ballot
Shall Chapter I, Section 5 be amended to be consistent with the Ohio Constitution by requiring Council to approve proposed Charter amendments by an ordinance rather than a resolution, and to rewrite the Section to describe the requirements of the Charter amendment process more clearly, as set forth in Ordinance 305-26?
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote requires Council to propose Charter amendments by ordinance rather than resolution and rewrites Section 5 on the amendment process.
A “No” vote means
A no vote keeps Charter Section 5 as it is.
