An additional tax for the benefit of Washington Township for the purpose of police funding that the county auditor estimates will collect $202,382 annually, at a rate not exceeding 3.25 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $114 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for a continuing period of time, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote approves an additional continuing 3.25-mill property tax for police in Washington Township, about $114 a year per $100,000 of market value.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the additional levy.
