An additional tax for the benefit of Madison County Emergency Medical District for the purpose of providing ambulance service, emergency medical service, or both, that the county auditor estimates will collect $2,199,290 annually, at a rate not exceeding 4.75 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $167 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote approves an additional 4.75-mill, 5-year property tax for ambulance and emergency medical service in the Madison County Emergency Medical District.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the additional levy.
